tv-player has an intuitive and easy-to-use graphical user interface. Together with its interactive help system, any part of the user interface is almost self explanatory.
Loading and configuration require more explanation.

| Here is a brief description of tv-player's main user interface.
|
- Most parts of the of the user interface are sensitive to right-click popup menus.
- You can interactive scrub through a loaded sequence using the mouse by clicking and not releasing your mouse cursor in the Display area or use the Seekbar.
- If empty, a double click inside the Display area brings up the load dialog,
otherwise full screen will be executed
- You can set [ In- and OutPoints ] which have a visual representation inside the Seekbar.

The bottom Infobar displays the current memory status using a RAM Gauge.
The colors indicate different memory types:
