loading sequence dialog

The loading dialog provides an tree view to the left and a file view to the right.

The default mode is the single file mode, as shown in the picture above. It is similar to Explorer’s file list view, but with a few differences:

• Each image sequence is displayed in a unique color.
• By default the auto selection mode is activated, which means that all files of a sequence are automatically selected if one file of that sequence is selected.
• If there is a broken image sequence these files are formatted with underline like the Schiffs_####.jpg in the example above.
• he toolbar and the right-click menu provide 3 selection commands:
  • Select all (A)
  • Select none (N)
  • Select invert (I)
• You can also double click a filename to open your system default picture viewer.

Of course you can turn off auto selection mode and use the [Shift], [Ctrl] and [Alt] keys to select multiple files, identical to Explorer’s selection functions.

The other file view mode is the proxy viewwhich displays all files of an image sequence as a single entry like the example below. After the basic filename, the start number, end number as well as the number of files are displayed.

If a broken sequence is detected it will be displayed in red and formatted with an underline like the Schiffs_[####].jpg example above. Also displayed is the number of missing frames.

If you want to know which files or frames are missing just double-click the sequence and an information dialog like the example to the right will appear. You can select the missing frame numbers and copy them via right-click menu to the clipboard.

In the top left of the loading dialog a selection history is also available.

Note: you can reach the selection history in the main application window by using the little down arrow of the open icon in the toolbar or using the load recent ... submenu in the File main-menu.
