  manual + auto update

One outstanding feature of AnimPlayer is the manual or automatic Update of changed images without reloading the entire sequence.

Update Dialog

Update checks if image files have been changed since they have been loaded.

  • Manual update checks only once.

  • Auto update executes Update every time when files have been changed. As long as changes happen permanently, AnimPlayer waits for a pause of 2 seconds where no change occurs to reflect all previous changes.

Choose "Edit / Auto update" or "Edit / Manual update" from the Main-Menu to get the dialog above.

Reload changed images

All images which have been changed will be reloaded.

This is useful if the loaded sequence will be overridden by a new rendering with the same filenames.

Add and load new images

All images which are new will be added and loaded. AnimPlayer automatically takes care of the right position within the sequence.

Very convenient if a new sequence is still in rendering.

Remove deleted images

Removes images from a loaded sequence which do not exist anymore.

Show update log

If enabled a window with log messages of all changes is automatically displayed.

This window can be also displayed with "View / Messages log"

Please note, currently Update works only on single sequence. Multiple sequences which can be used with IFL are not supported yet.
